The winners of the 2019 Tony Awards are here!
The 73rd annual awards show aired on CBS Sunday night with James Corden back as host.
Hadestownwas the big musical winner of the night, collecting best new musical and a slew of other awards, whileThe Ferrymanled the plays, winning the Tony for best new play among other honors.
The Glee Project‘s Ali Stroker made history as the first wheelchair-using performer to win a Tony. She netted best actress in a featured role in a musical forRodgers & Hammerstein’s Oklahoma!.
Other highlights included Elaine May winning her first major award for acting over the course of her career at 87. She won best leading actress in a play forThe Waverly Gallery. Bryan Cranston collected his second Tony for best leading actor in a play forNetwork. And Broadway veteran Stephanie J. Block took home her first Tony for playing Cher inThe Cher Show.
