Prince Williammay have just won some cool points from his children,Prince George,Princess CharlotteandPrince Louis!
Prince William received a green badge in recognition of his work with theEarthshot Prize, the environmental contest he created that seeks to find solutions to the planet’s challenges. The episode where the royal received the honor airs on CBBC at 5 p.m. local time on Friday as part of the show’s 65th birthday special.

This isn’t the firstBlue Peterbadge that Prince William has received. In 2017, he and his wife,Kate Middleton, were giventheir gold version in recognitionof their work on mental health. They followed William’s late grandmotherQueen Elizabeth, who is also a recipient of the special award. Prince William joked that he’d “compare” his badge with that of his granny, with Kate adding that they’ve “got a lot more work to do” to match her.
Blue Peterfirst aired in 1958 (the actual anniversary is on Monday, Oct. 16), and this year is also the 60th anniversary of the introduction of the iconicBlue Peterbadges.
