According to Slater, none of the music fromFantasiahas ever been performed onDWTS, which is currently in its 32nd season.
The pair both expressed amazement that it has taken this long to make an appearance on the ABC series — “but we are doing it,” Slater said.
“You’re going to have to tune in to watch,” Umansky added.
The contestants also reflected on their Motown Night performance, which earned them a 23 out of 40. Slater praised her partner’s dancing, calling it “phenomenal,” and both dancers expressed excitement about sticking around another week.
“We’re here. We got one more chance,” Umansky said, to which Slater added: “We got to dance again.”
The real estate broker continued, “I mean, it’s been so much fun. I get to do this. It’s something completely different … And I’m having an amazing experience doing it. It’s going to last, however [long] it’s going to last and then I’m never going to do it again. So hopefully it’s [till] the end.”
“I’m going to focus every single week. I’m going to get better and better and better. And at the end of the day, I’m going to enjoy the experience, the journey, all the way to the last moment,” he said, adding, “Hopefully holding the Mirrorball Trophy.”
