Lindsey Vonnis preparing to have knee replacement surgery.
The former Olympic skier, 38, who has hadmultiple knee surgeriessince her retirement in 2019, revealed her medical information Sunday in an Instagram Q&A when one person asked “What was yourmost recent procedurethat you had? Have been told only option is TKA.”
“I recently did a prep surgery for a knee replacement,” Vonn replied while sharing a photo of her knee wrapped in a surgical dressing on her Instagram Story. “Hope to have the next surgery this spring.”

In 2019, Vonnunderwent an operationto repair her torn lateral collateral ligament, LCL but has since continued to have knee problems.
“I’ve been dealing with all the damage from my ski racing career and have been trying to manage the pain as best I can,” Vonn wrote on Instagram in July after revealing she wasundergoing another surgery.
“This surgery is hopefully a big step to help me long term. We still have work to do, and most likely another surgery but I hope this will help me for a bit,” she added.

Sharing snaps of her wound on her Instagram story in September, Vonn asked for tips on how to treat the sting and posted a photo of the back of her leg that contained a red swollen area on her thigh.
“Trying the hot water soak … ” she wrote alongside a photo of her trying out one suggested method in a bath of clear water.
“How concerned should I be?!” Vonn jokingly added.
