Keanu ReevesandAlexandra Grantappear to be a perfect match.
“This is the most fun and positive relationship that Keanu has ever been in,” a source tells PEOPLE, adding that Grant, an artist, “is a rare gem.”
“She is adorable, sweet, caring and funny. She has her own life and career but is also very supportive of Keanu’s,” adds the source. “When he films on location, she travels with him. When he films locally, she often visits the set.”
“Everyone just loves her. They live together and often have friends over for dinner. Keanu is very happy,” says the source.
In September 2023, Grant told PEOPLE at the Los Angeles Beverly Arts Icon Awards that she feels “interdependent and independent in the best ways.”

At the time, Grant alsosaid Reeves, 59, is “such an inspiration to me,” adding that he is “so creative, he’s so kind. He works so hard.”
Grant’s friend, actress Jennifer Tilly, toldPage Sixback in February 2020 that the pairhad been dating for much longerthan fans realized. “I remember a couple of years ago, about a year and a half ago, [Grant] said, ‘Keanu Reeves is my boyfriend,’ and I’m like, ‘Wait. What? What? What?’ " Tilly said at the time.

In March 2020, Grant addressed her romance with Reeves for the first time, tellingVogueabout theattention she receivedafter they went public.
“I think every single person I knew called me in the first week of November, and that’s fascinating,” she said at the time. “But the question I’ve been asking in all of this is: What is the opportunity for good?”
