Sanders' exit from the vice president’s office is the second to be revealed in recent weeks. Last month, Harris' communications chief, Ashley Etienne, announced that she would leave, perCNN.

“Ashley is a valued member of the vice president’s team, who has worked tirelessly to advance the goals of this administration,” a White House official told the outlet. “She is leaving the office in December to pursue other opportunities.”

The exits come amid reports of staff infighting and alleged dysfunction between Harris' team and the West Wing (claims thevice president has denied).
