Jada Pinkett Smith’s brother is going through a breakup.
Caleeb, an actor and producer who most recently worked as a producer onCobra Kai, shares an 11-year-old daughter with Patricia, Caila Koren Pinkett.
Patricia is requesting that the former couple share joint legal and physical custody of their daughter, while also requesting spousal support from Caleeb and for the court to terminate its ability to award Caleeb spousal support.
She shared a photo with Jada to herInstagrampage as recently as in May, when she posted a selfie with her soon-to-be ex-sister-in-law. “Nothing But Extreme Gratitude For My Soul Sis @jadapinkettsmith ✨🙏🏽,” she wrote in the caption to that post. “Love You To Infinity And Beyond 💜”
Patricia alsoreshareda quote from the author Idil Ahmed to her Instagram Story on Sunday. The quote read: “A new era of your life is beginning; one that fulfills your soul and attracts blessings to you.”

In addition, Patricia’s most recentInstagrampost features a photo of her standing against a moonlit beach and an anonymous quote that read: “and then the moon said to me / dear girl, it’s time to own your f—ing power.”
Will Smith’s ex-wifeSheree Zampino, with whom he shares eldest sonTrey Smith, interacted with Patricia on social media in May as well. “She cute!!!” Sheree, 55, wrote in a comment on a photo of Patricia at a music festival.
In February, Caleeb shared a photo of himself toInstagramwith Jada and Will’s childrenJaden Smith, 25, andWillow Smith. “Pinkett genes are strong 💪🏾🤣,” he wrote in a caption to that post.
News of Caleeb’s impending divorce comes just days after Jada, 52, revealed in an interview on theTodayshow that she and Will, 55, have beenseparated for seven years. The actress andWorthyauthor further clarified on theOn Purpose with Jay Shettypodcast that she and Will, who married in 1996, “were living lives as single people” after a breakup in 2016.
