Clone Troopers are n’t just the shock troop of the Republic , and some of our favorite grapheme in Clone Wars — they ’re also bolt down icons . And Canadian photographer and fine art teacherDavid Eger has proved , once and for all , that any piece of art is made serious once you put Clone Troopers , and other Star Wars figures , into it .
Check out Eger ’s take on the flag - fostering at Iwo Jima , with Clone Troopers , above . And below , check out the Star Wars reading of American Gothic , some famous kisses , and more . These range add up from a serial called “ Cloned Photos , ” that ’s a continuation to an earlier serial , “ 365 24-hour interval of Clones . ” Eger attempts to send each photo on the day of remembrance of the photo he ’s paying protection to , or the lensman or artist ’s birth appointment .
