in earnest , how large is this parking lot ? You ’ve been walk for a good five minutes and your company ’s office construction is still just a speck on the horizon . But with this ego - prompt pintail , that hike through the elevator car ballpark will sail right by .
What Is It?
A belt - driven galvanising skateboard that move uphill as easy as it go down .
Who’s It For?
Commuters look for a gas- and stew - liberal last - air mile solution .
Design
The bamboo pintail deck of cards sits on 83 millimetre ABEC 11 wheels running ABEC 9 bearing . A 36 volt 7ah lithium polymer battery is bolt onto the bottom of the deck which powers a rap - driven three - stop number RWD brushless motor . The handheld shooting iron hold remote pair with the motor via a Bluetooth connective and switch between scummy , mellow , and invert speeds with the military press of a button .
Using It
Tap the baron button on the left over side of the battery camp to wrick on the motor , tap the left button on the remote control to power on the control , and they ’ll mechanically mate with one another . Kick off and squeeze the gun trigger to engage the motor . Simple as that .
The Pintail has an advertised top speed of 22 mph and though I could n’t independently verify my exact rate of travelling , I was certainly able to keep up with traffic on residential streets . The electric battery lasted about an time of day and twenty minutes to an hour forty during my tests , remarkably cheeseparing to the advertised limit of two hour , and went from zero to fully charge in close to two and a half , three hours .
The Best Part
beneficial golly this thing is fast . At 6’1″ 210 , I ’m by no means a small man ( and am actually just under the board ’s recommend 220 lb free weight limitation ) . But you would n’t gauge that with the power at which this board speed . I went from a impasse to top speed on a flat airfoil in about 10 car lengths . The drive is also exceptionally smooth , without even a hint of swiftness riveting thanks to its sturdy 26 - inch wheel bag .
Tragic Flaw
This thing is Fat Albert heavy . It tips the scales at just under 20 pounds . That ’s enough weightiness to pretend your stopping distance , and though you do n’t really notice the extra muckle when you ’re moving , you will when the battery pass and you have to either deport or bear on it to your destination .
This Is Weird…
It ’s so quiet . Like a ninja skateboard .
Test Notes
Always get into safety gear and be not drunk while ride .
Pull the trigger for speedup , press the gun trigger away to engage the pasture brake . As with all galvanising drives , this board takes off in an instant thanks to its massive torsion . Conversely , the braking mechanism is a bit underwhelming once you ’re moving at amphetamine .
This board was built for carving , preferably on categoric body politic . With the added weight of the motor and barrage fire , I demand a prospicient runout and some extra shoe leather to stop safely at the bottom of Golden Gate Park ’s even modest hills .

This utilize the same blade drive belt as my cable car .
Should I Buy It?
With an $ 1,100 price tatter , this is definitely a toy for crowing , monied kids . It does n’t pop the question the same utility as an equally price cycle , but jeez if it was n’t the most fun I ’d had long - embarkment in a long time . If you ’ve catch the immediate payment and are reckon for a unique medium - distance transportation alternative , you ’ll be hard - press to find a more elating pick . Otherwise , just stick to the sobriety - power version .
