A new program library in Casanera , Colombia shows us what humankind might have built with reefer and stones if they ’d never discovered bricks , steel , and electrical energy . The Villanueva Public Library was built on a meek budget , designed by a bunch of university students in Bogota . And alternatively of importing fancy , expensive materials , builder used local lumber and gemstone from nearby rivers to lower transportation cost . Then , instead of hiring experienced construction doer , they check local people to build it .
The construction consist of 32,000 straightforward feet including a reading room , an auditorium , a children ’s subroutine library , offices , and open space for cling out .
