Warner Bros. has turn another raw tone at Michael Chaves ’ The Curse of La Llorona , which follows a societal worker in ‘ 70 Los Angeles ( Linda Cardellini ) as she finds her family under attack from the mysterious flavor known as La Llorona , or the Weeping Woman . A vengeful wraith of a charwoman who killed her own children and then overwhelm herself , La Llorona spends her restless afterlife hunt down other nestling to replace them … so , you know , lock up the house , turn the light off , call in the local favorable non-Christian priest / exorcist , and sit tight for a night of full - on terror !

We were very intrigued by the first look we got at La Llorona at Comic - Conlast year , and this trailer is even more atmospheric and creepy thanthe first . view Chaves was tapped forthe third Conjuringin the aftermath of his directorial debut here , revulsion lover seem like they ’ve got a passel to see forward to . But probably not bathroom time .
