This gorgeous , customs bike was in the first place built in 1936 , and yet it look remarkably like the ultra - futuristic lite cycles we ’re going to see in Tron : Legacy . We ’ve got a gallery of this cyber - anachronistic bike , which has just been refurbished .
The cycle also reminds me a piece of Batman ’s motorcycle in Dark Knight , though that motorcycle did n’t have the amazing front grillwork which is just so over - the - top awesome . DiY web log Knucklebuster account :
I took these photograph at the Rhinebeck Grand National Meet where the newly restored bike was unveiled . The bike belongs to Frank Westfall from Syracuse , NY . According to some information I find oneself online , the motorcycle was in the beginning build by O. Ray Courtney in 1936 and is base on a 1930 K.J Henderson . The cycle is power by inline four cylinder ( not a ice yacht as some have said ) and as I ’m sure you’re able to gather by now , is a one - off custom . What I can substantiate is it does run and while it looked a routine unwieldy , Frank could be seen riding the motorcycle around the Fairgrounds all weekend .
